Accounts payable

Supplier bill capture, coding and approval tracking. Payment remains under the authority you specify.

Who it suits

Businesses that receive regular supplier bills and want them coded and queued for an authorised payer.

The problem it addresses

Bills arrive by email, photo and supplier portals. Without a rule for who may approve payment, bookkeeping and payment authority get mixed together.

Included

  • Bill intake through the document centre
  • Coding within the package allowance
  • Approval status
  • A supplier list kept for the engagement

Excluded

  • Making payments from your bank account
  • Authority to change payment recipients
  • Unlimited bills above the package allowance

What you need to supply

  • Supplier list
  • Approval rules
  • Where bills come from
  • Who may authorise payment

How it is delivered

Bills are coded and presented for approval. Payment files or bank payments are not released without the stated authorisation.

Pricing

Included up to the bill limit in Business and Business Plus. Essential includes basic coding only. Higher volumes are quoted.

Inside the recurring package where the limit fits. Extra volume needs an agreed variation.

Turnaround and dependencies

During the agreed processing cycle after a readable bill is received.

  • Approval rules
  • Readable invoices

When a person needs to assess the file

Required for purchase-order matching, progress claims or bills in poor condition.

Professional limits

The service administers bills. It does not decide whether a supplier arrangement is commercially sound.

How to purchase

Add accounts payable in the plan builder. The onboarding checklist asks for approval rules before the workflow is treated as ready.

Questions

Can you pay suppliers for me?

Only if a separate, explicit authority is agreed. The default service codes and tracks bills. It does not take control of the bank account.
